The Catholic Herald has entered into a media partnership with The Cardinal Newman Society, the American organisation known for its annual guide to faithful Catholic education.

The Cardinal Newman Society will contribute regular commentary to the Catholic Herald on the state of Catholic education, while providing expertise to support the Catholic Herald's ongoing reporting in this area.

Founded in 1993, The Cardinal Newman Society has spent more than 30 years advocating for, evaluating and defending authentic Catholic education. Its flagship publication, The Newman Guide, has been produced annually since 2007 and is regarded as the standard reference for families seeking faithful Catholic schools, colleges, curriculum providers and graduate programmes. The Cardinal Newman Society also accredits schools through its subsidiary, NAPCIS.
