Catholic Herald Ltd is the sole UK agent for Magnificat subscriptions. We are pleased to announce that the New Lectionary for use in England, Scotland and Wales is available. Annual subscription rates are £69. We will offer a bulk single address rate of £62 per unit (£620) if 10 subscriptions are purchased – this is likely to be popular with the many churches, monasteries, convents and residential homes we supply. The bulk rate is open to prayer groups and retail in general.

IMPORTANT: We have increased the annual subscription to £69 for new accounts. This is the result of increases in paper and production costs experienced by Magnificat. We have implemented the lowest possible subscription increase we can manage to retail. Renewers will see their new rates from January 1st 2026. 2-year subscriptions have also been closed as a result of annual price increases that we will face. Be assured we will keep any transfer of cost to retail as tightly managed as possible.

Please also note that we plan to cease offering the Advent Companion from 2026 – where necessary we will offer a free extension of JAN/FEB 2027 Magnificat to 2026 Companion subscribers as a recompense. This closure is the result of mounting distribution costs and packing problems within the UK. We apologise for being forced to introduce this change.

Magnificat is a spiritual guide to help you develop your prayer life, grow in your spiritual life, find a way to a more profound love for Christ, and participate in the holy Mass with greater fervour.

Magnificat is a monthly publication designed for daily use, to encourage both liturgical and personal prayer.

It can be used to follow daily Mass and can also be read at home or wherever you find yourself for personal or family prayer.

We do not ship books separately. 2 month batches will be sent on (or as close to) the 17th of the following months:

As part of cost control, helping us to keep down subscription rates, we bundle 2 months together for retail customers.

NEW subscriptions placed after 10th February 2025 will receive May/June 26 as their first mailing.
