Cardinal Vincent Nichols has recorded a statement calling on people to get involved in a Catholic charity’s initiative supporting persecuted and other suffering Christians on November 20.
Cardinal Nichols, the Archbishop of Westminster and president of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales, endorsed the #RedWednesday campaign of Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) in a video message.
He invited parishes and individuals to participate in activities to raise awareness of, and pray for, the suffering Church.
