Two schoolboys arrested over fire
Two schoolboys have been arrested on suspicion of arson after St Joseph’s church in Basingstoke was set on fire. Nobody was injured in the fire, which is believed to have started in a garden shed nearby. More than 30 firefighters were called out.

Tables, pews and candlestands were found overturned in St Anselm and St Cecilia in London last week. Police are investigating based on CCTV footage.
