Gender will be the topic of discussion at St Mary Moorfields in London next Wednesday, June 12. A conference, organised by the Association of Catholic Women, will discuss “The Gender Agenda”. Sunday is Pentecost. Various customs commemorate the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and Our Lady. In France, trumpets are sometimes blown during Mass, a reminder of the “driving wind” heard as the Spirit descended.
