On Saturday May 8, Coloma Convent girls' school and the Coloma Old Girls' Association (COGA) welcomed more than 260 former pupils into school for the 140th anniversary reunion lunch.
The day began with Mass in the chapel, celebrated by Fr Joe O'Connor. Guests then proceeded to the splendid marquee on the school grounds where they were welcomed with a drink of their choice and canapés before sitting down for a buffet lunch, which was followed by the annual general meeting.

Subsequently, Sister Sheila Mahoney made everybody laugh with her quick wit and reminiscing, encouraging everybody to share their memories of their time at Coloma. Guests also had an opportunity to purchase their copy of Coloma Memories, a 178-page paperback book compiled by ex-pupil Sheila Glasswell.
