Matt Fradd, the host of the popular Pints With Aquinas podcast, has announced that he and his show will join the US neo-conservative media platform The Daily Wire in 2026.
Fradd revealed the move in an online video to his followers, marking a significant crossover for a Catholic media figure into a major secular outlet.
The Daily Wire’s team welcomed him enthusiastically, saying they were “excited for Matt to continue inspiring our culture to think more clearly, live more virtuously, and love God more deeply” as he brings his content to their platform. They emphasised that Pints With Aquinas “isn’t changing, it’s just getting bigger,” indicating that the show will retain its Catholic focus while gaining a broader audience on the new network.
The partnership means Fradd’s theology-and-culture podcast, which has attracted a large following, will be featured alongside The Daily Wire’s slate of conservative commentary shows early next year.
Reactions among Catholics to the announcement have been mixed. Many fans and friends of Fradd praised the move, arguing it could amplify a Catholic voice in the wider cultural conversation. They noted that Fradd would “bring with him a large, unapologetically Catholic audience” to The Daily Wire, suggesting his followers are eager to inject faith-based perspectives into mainstream debates. Supporters believe the collaboration will give Fradd “an even bigger platform” to evangelise and defend Catholic values in the public square.
Others, however, have voiced concern and criticism. Some fear that partnering with The Daily Wire could dilute Fradd’s message or compromise the independence of his content. Critics within the online Catholic sphere have accused such collaborations of aligning with neo-conservative, Zionist-leaning agendas, part of what some describe as a trend towards “Catholic Inc.”
Fradd, for his part, has indicated that he intends to maintain the Catholic focus of his work, and supporters hope The Daily Wire’s resources will help protect and promote that content without compromising it.
The Daily Wire, founded in 2015 by commentator Ben Shapiro and filmmaker Jeremy Boreing, has grown into a major conservative media company in the United States. Known for its popular podcasts and video shows, notably The Ben Shapiro Show, the network also features Catholic or faith-oriented voices such as commentators Michael Knowles and Matt Walsh.
Fradd’s addition to the lineup marks a further step in the trend of Catholic figures taking on larger roles within mainstream conservative media.
