The Carl Schmitt foundation, named after the American artist, is hosting a symposium on “The Catholic Artist Today” in association with the Diocese of Arlington’s Office of Catechetics. Artists including the painter Henry Wingate will discuss their work and the faith at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Potomac Falls, from 7pm to 10pm. Admission is free.
