Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche hinted that he would crack down on mail-order abortion drugs and work to ban abortion nationwide in a call with faith leaders, several news outlets reported.
The call, which was posted online by the organisation Intercessors for America on its YouTube page on July 30, was hosted by the White House Faith Office, Politico reported on August 3. The audio was taken down on the afternoon of August 4 but was archived by other news outlets.
Intercessors for America, a Christian organisation founded in 1973, describes itself as “the largest national prayer ministry dedicated to praying for our government and leaders”.
