Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández has announced that a new document on the transmission of the faith will be published by his dicastery in October.
Speaking to participants in the annual Vatican course for newly consecrated bishops, Fernández gave details about the next document his Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) is due to release. He stated that the text “on the transmission of faith” was requested by Pope Francis in his “last days”, in order to “stimulate discussion and reflection in the community”.
