Cardinal Vincent Nichols has offered prayers for the victims of last night's terrorist attack in London. The Archbishop of Westminster and president of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales tweeted that all affected by the attack were in his prayers. Seven people were killed and at least 48 injured after a white van hit several pedestrians at London Bridge. Three men left the vehicle and stabbed a number of people in nearby Borough Market. Armed officers shot all three suspects within eight minutes of receiving the first emergency call.
