A new generation of Catholics may have found its voice in France this weekend. As Pope Leo addressed thousands of young people gathered in Paris, two themes emerged above all others: peace and life.
Peace. From his very first words after his election to his intervention at UNESCO on Friday, the Pope has reminded us that we are all brothers and sisters, and that we must put an end to all wars. During the evening at the Stade de France, a famous French MMA fighter was invited to speak. Yet the message was not about fighting, but about being grateful for the gifts of Faith and Strength, received through the Holy Spirit.
