Saturday 5th September 2026 saw the biggest March for Life UK ever, with over 10,000 pro-lifers marching in a public declaration against abortion. The yearly event saw not only the largest pro-life turnout yet, but the largest counterdemonstration too.
The message of the year’s march was “pro-family, pro-life,” displaying the desires of the attendees to build a nation that protects the unborn child and protects the family that’s proven time and time again to aid their development into adulthood.
Counter-demonstrators gathered outside the Emmanuel Centre, the march’s start point, shouting about bodily autonomy, trans rights, and calling their opponents—a group consisting of young families, Clergy, and pensioners— “fascist.”
