Msgr Roger Landry, national director of the Pontifical Mission Societies USA, has been suspended from public ministry and has taken a leave of absence from that role following a series of misconduct allegations, it was announced on Friday, September 11.
The allegations do not involve minors.
The announcement was made by the Diocese of Fall River, Massachusetts, where Msgr Landry is incardinated as a priest. He has served outside the diocese since 2015 and currently lives in New York. From 2015 until 2022, he was an attaché to the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations.
