The Diocese of Pittsburgh has warned people that attending a privately arranged celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass does not fulfil the Sunday obligation and that the Mass itself has not been approved by the bishop.
“The Diocese of Pittsburgh has become aware of announcements concerning the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass at a privately owned property identifying itself as Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel in Conway, Pennsylvania,” said a statement from the Diocese of Pittsburgh published on social media on Tuesday, October 6.
