In his prayer intentions for September, Pope Francis has urged society to put humanity at its centre.
In the video released online, the Pope said that humanity is facing a crisis, not just economically but one that is also "ecological, educational, moral and human."
The Pontiff added that at times of crises, we are presented with an opportunity to work together in solidarity.
"Come help me. For everyone to contribute to the common good and to build a society that puts the human person at its centre," he said.
