Hail, full of grace, for you became a refuge for us, and you mediate on behalf of us, the earth-born, to your Son, and your God, and our God. Hail, full of grace, hail, the common salvation of all the ends of the earth together, and the Christian protection of all Christians. Hail, the only ready help of the helpless, and the only greatly powerful strength of the powerless. Hail, full of grace, hail, the only exaltation of the humble, and the only support of the poor, and the only mother of orphans, and of the poor, and of widows. Hail, full of grace, hail, the only consolation of the weary, and the only shelter of the unsheltered. Hail, full of grace, hail, the only redemption of captives, and the only recall of the exiled and banished. Hail, full of grace, hail, the only visitation of the sick, and the only healing of the infirm, and the only cure of the demon-possessed. Hail, full of grace, hail, the only governance of those who sail, and the only fellow traveller and companion of those who journey by night.
Hail, for the eyes of all of us hope in you, the only pure one, and gaze upon you always. Hail, full of grace, hail, you who always preside over us, the humble, and deliver us from all just wrath and threat. Hail, full of grace, hail, you who always preserve and shelter our poor-born race in temptations, in dangers, and in various misfortunes. Hail, full of grace, hail, for no one like you, except God, has inherited so great a name, or ever attained such glory.
Hail, truly most blessed, hail, through whom we today celebrate in a super-cosmic manner this super-cosmic day. Hail, truly most blessed, hail, through whom we today celebrate with all the people a feast of feasts, and a festival of festivals. Hail, truly most blessed, hail, through whom we today are gathered together in flocks in your holy temples, and honour you with a great voice. Hail, truly most blessed, hail, through whom we today, gathering like bees, offer abundant hymnody, as you offer protection. Hail, full of grace, hail, through whom we today, bearing light, splendidly magnify you in the Church. Hail, truly most blessed, hail, through whom we today have stirred up the sayings of David with David, and those of the angel with the angel.
Hail, truly most blessed, hail, through whom we today, captive praisers, have woven this fourfold pentacontad of joy-making prophecies; but extend your mercy, all-good Lady, to those who know you, and look upon your servants and upon your works, and direct all to the way of peace, for the eyes of all hope in you, and through your mediation we have received reconciliation with your Son and God, and our God; to whom be glory, to whom be dominion, to whom be strength, with His unoriginate Father, and the consubstantial and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the endless ages of ages. Amen.
