Filipinos go to the polls on Monday May 13 for the mid-term elections, with the country’s bishops hinting to Catholics that they should vote against President Rodrigo Duterte.
Duterte has clashed with the Church, especially over his crackdown on drug dealers which the bishops say has opened the door to violence. But his allies are expected to gain a Senate majority.
