Thousands of pilgrims are expected to gather in London for a Eucharistic procession on Saturday, October 10. Adoremus, the National Eucharistic Congress, will host bishops, priests and laity, beginning with the “Adoration Mass” celebrated by Archbishop John Wilson of Southwark at St George’s Cathedral at 12pm.
Archbishop Wilson noted the opportunity for Catholics to “joyfully proclaim that the Lord Jesus is risen and truly present in the Most Holy Eucharist”. “In the Blessed Sacrament, Jesus Christ, true God and true man, is the same Lord who walked the roads of Galilee and now reigns in glory with the Father,” he said.
