Nebraska may be deemed a “fly-over state” for some, but for the tens of thousands of Catholics who have made Lincoln their home, it is very much a hub of Catholicism, in a manner replicated in few other places.
Bishop James Conley has led the Diocese of Lincoln since September 2012, after receiving his appointment from Pope Benedict XVI, who had previously named him as an auxiliary to Archbishop Chaput in Denver.
