Bishop John Sherrington has awarded the Benemerenti medal to Tony Martin, a long-serving volunteer of the Catholic National Library in the library’s centenary year. Mr Martin received the medal during a Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Farm Street, London, on Friday, February 10. Mr Martin was given the medal in recognition of over 30 years of service to the library. Bishop Sherrington, Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster, presided at the Mass.
