A priest who was allocated a church that was known for celebrating a traditional Mass has announced he is resigning from active ministry after less than a year in his new post. Fr Steven Fisher will leave Our Lady of the Rosary in Blackfen, Kent, citing “a personal cost” to his physical and mental health. Fr Fisher has accepted the job of maths teacher at St John’s School in Gravesend, Kent.
