Mgr Stephen Robson was ordained auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh on June 9 at St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh. During the homily at the ordination Mass, Cardinal Keith O’Brien of St Andrews and Edinburgh said: “I myself have known our soon-to-be Bishop Stephen for some 35 years and he knows me equally well. “Some of you here today have known him for a longer time – and it must be a great joy for our new bishop to have both his parents here with him today for this ordination. “I do commend him to you.”
