The Catenian Association has given a cheque for hundreds of pounds in support of the St Vincent de Paul Society in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The cheque for £335 was presented by Tony Baker of Norwich Circle of the Catenian Association after a Sunday Mass at St Edmunds church in Acle on January 29. Sandra Starkings, the vice-president of Great Yarmouth’s St Vincent De Paul Society accepted the cheque in the presence of Deacon Peter Glanville. The money was part of the proceeds raised at Mr Baker’s recent annual Christmas carol concert held at his house near Brundle.
