Thousands of people braved a rainy forecast to set a record turnout at the fourth annual Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC, on September 26.
“We have the biggest turnout yet for the pilgrimage even accounting for inclement weather. It’s hard to imagine this response since the event is only four years old,” Fr Patrick Briscoe, OP, Promoter General of Social Communication of the Order of Preachers, told the Catholic Herald.
