Venezuelan archbishop offers to resign at 75
Cardinal Jorge Urosa Savino, the Archbishop of Caracas, has submitted his archiepiscopal resignation upon reaching 75 years of age. Under canon law, bishops must submit their resignations to the Pope once they reach 75, but he may let them stay on.
