Pope invited to Scots College for 400th year
Pope Francis has been invited to Rome’s Pontifical Scots College to mark 400 years of priestly formation. Archbishop Leo Cushley made the invitation during an audience with the Pope. The college was founded in 1600 but became a seminary 16 years later.
Coptic cathedral hosts a service for unity
Auxiliary Bishop John Sherrington of Westminster joined a service for unity at the Coptic cathedral in Stevenage last week, and called for renewed ecumenical efforts.
