Pope Francis sees the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church as “a favourite child of the Universal Church”, Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk said after meeting the Pope on Saturday. He said Francis stressed that ecumenism could not be “at the expense” of the Church.
