Katy Perry is reportedly involved in a dispute with a group of nuns over her wish to buy a convent in Los Angeles. The pop star, known for hits including Firework, has been named in a lawsuit over the hill-top property in the Los Feliz area, according to reports. The Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary said that they own the building and have sold it to restaurateur, Dana Hollister, but the Los Angeles Archdiocese claims it is in charge of the sale and have struck a deal to sell it for $14.5m (£9.25m), with the law suit naming Perry as the buyer. The archdiocese released a statement saying it has taken legal action to stop Ms Hollister taking control of the building, which she plans to turn into a restaurant and bar. Sister Rita Callanan, from the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, told the LA Times she had researched Perry's performances and music videos and had not been impressed. "Well, I found Katy Perry and I found her videos… if it's all right to say, I wasn't happy with any of it," she said.
