The Pope has decreed that six new saints – including two Indians – will be canonised on November 23, the feast of Christ the King. Cardinal Vincent Nichols has called for an end to the “misplaced sense of shame” that surrounds victims of sexual violence in war. Forensic researchers are seeking to reconstruct St Anthony of Padua's face using a digital copy of his skull (video). Filip Mazurczak says Spain is seeing an "astonishing" rise in Mass attendance. And a French website, Prêtre En Vacances, is helping priests find free holiday accommodation in return for helping in local parishes (French report).
