Asia Bibi,the Pakistani woman sentenced to death for blasphemy, has lost her High Court Appeal. Asia Bibi was convicted for blasphemy in 2010 when she was found guilty of making derogatory comments about the prophet Muhammed. The Lahore High Court has now rejected Bibi's latest appeal but her lawyers have vowed to take her case to the Supreme Court. Two prominent Pakistani politicians were murdered after they called for the reform of Pakistan's blasphemy laws when Ms Bibi was first convicted in 2010.
