1 Archbishop Bernard Longley has ordained seven deacons, for the dioceses of Birmingham, Brentwood, Cardiff, Hallam, Menevia and Salford, at St Mary’s College, Oscott. They will continue to prepare for their priestly ordination over the coming year.
2 Marco Longhi, the new Mayor of Walsall, is a parishioner of the Catholic parish of St Mary’s the Mount in the West Midlands town.
