On Wednesday June 30 Providence Row opened its doors to the public and celebrated 150 years of helping homeless people.

The open day offered supporters, members of the charitable sector and the local community the chance to find out more about the charity’s work with homeless and vulnerable people in London. Tours of the Dellow Day Centre in London E1 were provided, along with a chance to meet the staff and partner organisations they work with.

Simon Bartley, Providence Row’s chairman, and Sister Winefride Biddle, longest serving volunteer, also unveiled a plaque which commemorates the 150th anniversary.
