Homeless woman gives birth next to St Peter’s
A homeless woman who gave birth to a baby girl on the edge of St Peter’s Square has been offered a place to stay at a Missionaries of Charity-run shelter in Rome, a Vatican spokesman has said. Papal almoner Archbishop Krajewski visited the woman in hospital.
