The Vatican official charged with organising Pope Francis’s 2025 Jubilee of Hope has stressed that the event will focus on hope and forgiveness in the face of a global climate of anger and resentment.
Speaking as part of a panel including the mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, at the annual Rimini Meeting in the same-named city in northern Italy, Italian archbishop Rino Fisichella, the pro-prefect of the Vatican Dicastery for Evangelisation, which is organising the upcoming 2025 Jubilee, focused on how the themes of hope and forgiveness will dominate the Jubilee.
