Heythrop College has improved overall satisfaction levels in this year’s National Student Survey. The results showed that 90 per cent of Heythrop's students were satisfied with the overall quality of their course, a six percentage point rise on last year. Heythrop also surveys its own postgraduate students, and this year’s results also show a six per cent increase to 95 per cent. In a statement Principal Fr Michael Holman said: “I am delighted with this year’s NSS results which, with REF results published before Christmas, is a further fitting tribute to the hard work and commitment of our students and staff.” In June it was announced that the college, based in Kensington, west London, will cease to exist as a “college in its current form, as a constituent college of the University of London”, from 2018. The college was founded in 1614 by the Society of Jesus.
