Australia's bishops have called for a month of prayer as the country debates same-sex marriage. Nigeria will be reconsecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary next month, Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama has announced. Catholic and Orthodox theologians have agreed to discuss "primacy and synodality in the second millennium and nowadays".
