Declan Donnelly, one half of the TV presenting duo Ant & Dec, was presented with a special framed certificate from Pope Francis at his wedding on Saturday. Mr Donnelly, who presents ITV entertainment shows I'm a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here as well as Britain's Got Talent, married his agent Ali Astall at St Michael’s Church in Newcastle. During the ceremony, the groom's brother, Fr Dermott Donnelly, presented the couple with the gift which said: "The Holy Father Francis cordially imports the requested apostolic blessing to Declan Donnelly and Alison Astall on the occasion of their marriage and through the intercession of the Virgin Mary invokes an abundance of divine graces." According to the Daily Mirror, a party goer said: "After a letter from the Pope, Dec was in shock and he got pretty choked up. It was the perfect day."
