A new movie about Carlo Acutis has been released just ahead of him becoming a new Italian saint.
The Vatican is preparing to canonise Acutis on April 27. Acutis died of leukaemia at the age of 15 in 2006, and soon after his death stories about his holiness began to spread from around Italy. The young man is also venerated in England, where he was born and baptised, when his father was working in the UK capital.
Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality is being premiered on April 21 in Washington, DC, before airing at the Vatican on April 24.
